RAYDA is an empowerment offering that gets the business to refocus its justification for data assets or report building and data consumption. Ours is a disruptive, digitally based, people-centric alternative to managing the business’ need for information.
Previously, governing boards, committees and senior management could delegate responsibility for data management and governance, ignoring the tight relationship between data and the decisions they were making. Data Governance
Data governance is about the degree to which we use disciplined behaviour across our entire organisation in how we manage that data, by having in place appropriate policies, frameworks and controls to ensure that data is governed in a way that meets the needs of the organisation’s stakeholders.
Enterprises with poorly designed or adopted approaches to enterprise governance perform worse in aligning business and IT strategies and processes. As a result, such enterprises are much less likely to achieve their intended business strategies and realize the business value they expect from digital transformation.
Data Management
Data management is about the operational implementation of practices to continually maintain and improve data to have it fit-for-purpose in making good business decisions.
It also extends to the data value chains required and how the team needs to analyse the business to ensure they are looking with the “same eyes” at how the information is segmented or dimensionalised. Where there are discrepancies, they are challenged and either changed or kept, with a better understanding of the business.
